Michael Breeze
Michael qualified in 1977, joined the firm (then called Leonard Kaslers and based in the City of London) in 1979, became a partner in 1981, experienced the property boom of the 80s and the subsequent crash in the 90s
Taking the firm out London in 1993, he created a diversified practice down in Kent, whilst still retaining the London connections
He later expanded Kaslers into the London Canary Wharf / Docklands and formed the current LLP with Simon Scott in 2005.
Memorable projects / problems include acquiring and disposing of large City office blocks, industrial estates and High Street “supermarket” portfolios; many director / shareholder disputes – several involving the need for urgent injunctions, forgery , fraud, perjury , violence, private detectives and dawn raids; several Inland Revenue Special Compliance Office investigation into the tax affairs of clients; business trips to New York, Los Angeles, Kuala Lumpar, Hong Kong Paris , Bologna, Jersey, Georgia CIS
Now driving the change in business model and massive expansion of the practice since 2009 (click button Opportunities), Michael loves staying involved with Business Law, Litigation, Company and Commercial work.
Michael has been an avid networker........ having been Chairman, Secretary or other Officer of many organisations (and in some cases, still is a member of ) such as ..........Business Network International ("BNI"); 4Networking; West Kent Speakers Club; Toastmasters International; Kent Executive Club, a Village Parish Hall c/t, a tennis club and so on
Today, he concentrates on his roles on the main Board of Institute of Directors, Kent and as Hon. Secretary to The Worshipful Company of Carmen Benevolent Trust, a registered charity connected with his Livery Company
In the past, Michael owned a 1971 Maserati Bora 4.7 litre supercar with which, over 20 years, he toured France and England and enjoyed track days and for 12 years, used his Private Pilots Licence to fly various makes of light aircraft more quickly over the same ground
These days, Michael is a competitive, tennis player and is trying hard to ignore the injuries and pain brought on by playing in the box leagues at his local David Lloyd Leisure centre …in the hope that treachery, cunning and experience will outwit youth and talent any day
